Hey, this is Jeff Black. I am one of the minds behind the 360 Volleyball App. I have worked full time in youth volleyball since 2012 and am known for identifying problems and creating solutions that lead to more access to volleyball.

Access and affordability for kids to play volleyball has become a huge problem nationwide, I refer to it as the pay to play market. 

The majority of players play club because they love volleyball, want to make their school team, or want to play in college & beyond! 

School Volleyball:

Players go to middle school tryouts without any real experience, a large % don’t make the team & never learn to play…or they go play rec and hope the coach is experienced…but the majority play 1 contact volleyball.

Players make the team, but every year there is another class coming in to compete for playing time. Taller kids have more stability, but average athletes must be very well rounded to find a role where the team needs them, or they’ll likely find themselves without a role.

What happens when a player doesn’t make their school team? They research opportunities to play volleyball elsewhere & find 2 main options: Rec or Club.

Recreation Volleyball: Typically under $150 for an 8 week fall or spring season. Practices are only 1 hour, all coaches are volunteers and the majority of teams play one contact “ping pong” over the net.

Club Volleyball: Price is typically $1000-$5000+ & things can get crazy really fast. In many cases travel is necessary for competition depending on where you live & the level you play, but too many families have FOMO, want the title of Elite/National & think that because they traveled somewhere that their team is good. 

I live in Atlanta, so unless you want to “chase bids” or “travel for the experience” or you’re an A5 1-2 team at some age groups, travel is unnecessary. Families still get hotels for “local tournaments” because the city is spread out and people commute to play.

So we built the 360 Volleyball App off an existing software called 360 Player & loaded it with volleyball content! 

Individuals can join our Home Volleyball Training program & learn to play by doing daily sessions.

Teams can use it for all aspects of management & player development.

Clubs / School Programs can use it to ensure every coach is building practice plans with efficient drills, rotations, defenses & offenses. Especially for master coaching, the software works perfectly!

• Founder of A5 Beach in 2013: One of the early adopters of beach volleyball & under my leadership we were one of the largest / strongest programs in the country.
• Heavily involved with staff & recruiting for A5 Boys under the original leadership of Kip Buss.
• Creator of 575 Volleyball in 2017 that established the core leadership team & expanded to 6 locations, all organically built from scratch!! 
• Started Club Volleyball Consultants in 2024 with Denise Corrigan to provide management solutions to clubs without having to sell. 
• Acquired North Georgia Volleyball in 2024 from Kurt Matthews, who was one of my mentors during my full time tenure at A5. Added 10 more teams to make 18 teams in 2024-2025 & transitioned the business to a full service club.
• Creator of ClubVT in 2024 to provide more access to local club tournaments in Georgia and throughout the Southeast.
